While formally trained in western medicine, she incorporates the use of Chinese herbs and acupuncture into her practice with exceptional results. A long-time vegan, she has always been and will always be devoted to the promotion of welfare of both farmed and domestic animals. When she's not in the clinic, she can often be seen walking her daughters, Charley, Hollis and the clinic mascot, Goji. around the neighborhood.
Dr. Jane Kelly
DVM
Dr. Jane Kelly grew up in northern New Jersey and received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Rutgers University. During her undergraduate years she was interested in wildlife and active in volunteering with a local rehabilitation center and the New York Aquarium. Dr. Kelly then moved to southern California to attend veterinary school.
A graduate of Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013, Dr. Kelly pursued a small animal rotating internship at Animal Emergency Medical Center in Torrance, CA. Upon completeing her internship, she continued to practice as a small animal general practitioner in the Santa Clarita Valley for a few years. Dr. Kelly was happy to relocate closer to the area and find a home with The Village Vet.
Dr. Kelly shares her home with her partner Abhi, their three cats and a snake. Outside of working, she enjoys yoga, traveling, and sketching.
Dr. Roxanne LeBrun
DVM
Dr. Roxanne LeBrun was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas San Antonio then relocated to Southern California to attend veterinary school. Dr. LeBrun graduated as a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.
After graduating veterinary school, Dr. LeBrun completed a rigorous small animal rotating internship at Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Irvine, CA. Dr. LeBrun then worked in general practice in the Los Angeles area for a few years before joining the amazing team at The Village Vet.
Dr. LeBrun lives with her husband, Alex, and their small zoo of two dogs, three cats and a tortoise. In her free time, Dr. LeBrun enjoys hiking, camping, and crocheting crazy outfits to torment her pets with..
Dr. Lily Won
DVM
Dr. Lily Won is a proud California native. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with double majors in biology and neuroscience. Her passion for helping animals led her to pursue her veterinary training at Colorado State University, one of the top three veterinary schools in the United States. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and the Gentle Doctor Award upon graduation.
Tired of the cold, and snowy, Colorado winters. Dr. Won was thrilled to move back to sunny California to complete a rotating small animal internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital North County in San Marcos, CA. She joined the amazing team at Village Vet in August 2019. In her free time, Dr. Won enjoys going to the beach, hiking with her three dogs, and exploring new restaurants with her family.
